WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Mark Cabus and Gwen Renée
Mark Cabus and Gwen Renée

Gwen Renée has crafted a children’s book that feels both playful and profound.

Ball State University

“Gwen Renée’s heartwarming Fuzzy Dragon Wonders opens with the lovable Fuzzy Dragon dreaming of being a superhero, only to confront the gentle truth that “superheroes aren’t real.” But Fuzzy Dragon’s curiosity and heart aren’t easily deterred. Instead, he sets off on a playful journey, trying on the hats of superheroes in disguise—actors, teachers, scientists, architects, doctors, and more. With each new role, he explores the courage, creativity, and care that make these everyday figures quietly heroic. In the process, he discovers that heroism isn’t about capes or superpowers—it’s about showing up, helping others, and making a difference in ways big and small.”

“Gwen Renée has created a new children’s masterpiece! Not only will this book open kids’ minds to a variety of career opportunities, but it also provides clarity regarding what people actually do at these jobs, where they might work, and how they can make a difference for those less fortunate than themselves.”

“Gwen Renée already has a special place in my heart, being my cousin. Many great times as kids growing up in a big family. Talented in so many ways, this book is another amazing example of her creativity and imagination. Incorporating the love of dragons with the need for kids to explore career paths, this is a wonderful creation. Being a veterinarian, I was excited she included my profession in the book and sharing the many paths the profession can take you. Such an incredible story and informative, fun experience to read. Well done, Gwen Renée!”
